Students Participation in Association of Indian Universities (AIU) South Zone
Angadi Institute of Technology and Management-AITM, Belagavi had an opportunity to be a part of the prestigious Association of Indian Universities (AIU) South Zone Vice Chancellor’s Meet held at VTU Belagavi on 26th and 27th October 2023.
The Vice Chancellor’s Meet is an esteemed gathering that brings together Vice Chancellors, Principal’s, academic leaders, researchers, and innovators from the South Zone to discuss pressing issues in technical education, share knowledge, and collaborate on future projects. It was attended by educators, professionals, and experts in various fields.
Dr. Anand Deshpande, Principal & Director, AITM, Prof. Vishalkirthi Patil, TPO, Belagavi, Dr. Kiran Potadar, Dr. B.T. Suresh Babu and Prof. M. V. Kanthi, Prof. Ashfaq P, Prof. Sangamesh and other staff from the institute were part of the event.
The event also showcased project exhibition which featured a wide array of innovative projects and research work by students from various educational institutions in the South Zone.
Students from Angadi Institute of Technology and Management- AITM presented their innovative ideas on Energy Conservation with a working model under the guidance of Prof. Kantesh D C, HOD, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering by students Mr. Shreyas. The students stood out for their exceptional projects, their dedication, creativity, and hard work were truly impressive and received accolades from the eminent visitors like Vice-chancellors and Principals from different University, including Registrar and other dignitaries who went through all the projects.

Angadi Institute of Technology and Management Belagavi , Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering 8th Semester Final Year Students have attended All India Seminar on ” Green Building -Need of the Hour” ( organized under the aegis of Civil Engineering Division Board IEI , Kolkata and Indian Green Building Council Bengaluru ) Held on 17th & 18th April ,2023 at The Institution of Engineers ( India), Local Center, Dharwad. Students have presented a paper’s on “Wind Energy Usage in Green Buildings” and ” Review on the Implementation of Energy -Efficient Building and Technology”.

2. Prof. Kantesh D. C is a mentor for the project called “Design of Solar Still using Phase Changing materials and sensible Heat Elements” Under K-Tech New Age Incubation Network( NAIN), Government of Karnataka, KLS VDIT, Haliyal, Uttar kannada.
3. Prof. Vasantkumar K Upadhye EEE, AITM Belagavi was invited as a Resource Person to give the seminar on “Recent Trends in Electrical Power System” at K.L.E Polytechnic, Mahalingpur.
