PARICHAYA 2K25 !!
The inaugural function of the Association of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Students – PARICHAYA 2k25 and the Fresher’s welcome was organized by the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Angadi Institute of Technology and Management (AITM), Belagavi, on Wednesday, November 5th, 2025.
Mr. Raju Y. Mane, Area Head of Electrical & Instrumentation, Hindalco Industries, Aditya Birla Group, Belagavi, was the chief guest for the function. Dr. Anand B. Deshpande, Principal and Director of AITM, Prof. Raviraj Chougala, HoD of EEE, Prof. Rajendra Ghivari, Association Co-ordinator and students Mr. Anand Mali, Mr. Shubham Biradar, and Ms. Preeti B., co-ordinators of AEEES, presided over the event. Ms. Vaishali R. performed the welcome dance, and Ms. Shweta Doddannavar and her group performed the welcome song, followed by a welcome speech by Ms. Chaitra M. Petkar.
During his address, the chief guest, Mr. Raju Y. Mane, spoke about the importance of the Electrical Engineering field and encouraged students to learn about new and emerging trends in the Electrical domain. Prof. Raviraj Chougala, HoD of EEE, AITM, presented the annual report for the academic year 2024–25, highlighting the major achievements of the department, academic and co-curricular activities, student accomplishments, and overall departmental growth during the year.
The dignitaries presented prizes and certificates to the academic achievers of the year 2024–25.
On this occasion, the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering expresses its sincere thanks to Dr. Spoorti R. Patil, Director, SAEF, Shri Raju Joshi, Administrator, SAEF and Dr. Anand B. Deshpande, Principal and Director, AITM. We also thank the various department HoDs and the teaching and non-teaching staff for their presence and support in making the event memorable.
Prof. Raviraj Chougala, HoD of EEE, AITM, extends heartfelt gratitude to the EEE faculty members—Prof. Kantesh D. C, Dr. Ramesh Bantwal, Prof. Rajendra Ghivari, Prof. Vinay Pattanshetti, Prof. Vinayachandrika Kale, Prof. Manjushree Havannavar and Prof. Pragati Honagekar—and the non-teaching staff member Mr. Krishana Kamble for their continuous support, involvement, and encouragement throughout the event.
The Master of Ceremony was done by Ms. Pruthvi Sakri. Ms. Shreya B. Mathapati introduced the chief guest, and the function concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Suvani Langote. Prof. Raviraj Chougala, HoD of EEE, AITM, extended his appreciation to the students of the EEE Department for their active participation in making the event a grand success.

In visiting Kanbargi village and Machhe, Belagavi, the students likely gained insights into the practical applications of their field within a real-world context. Understanding the needs and lifestyle of the villagers, who primarily rely on agriculture, would have given them a perspective on how their skills and knowledge can be applied to address local challenges.

VENCER 2k24 And 12th Graduation Day
VENCER 2024 A Two Days National Level Techno – Cultural Fest was organized at Angadi Institute of Technology and Management Belagavi on 31st May and 1st June 2024. Under this fest many events had been conducted for inter college students 12th Graduation Day was organized on 2nd June 2024

Inaugural function of Association of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Students (AEEES), VIDYUTSAVA – 2k23
Association of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Students VIDYUTSAVA – 2k23 organized by the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Angadi Institute of Technology and Management (AITM) was a resounding success! The event was held on 30th December 2023.
The chief guest for the occasion was Dr. Anand B Deshpande, Principal & Director, AITM. Prof. Kantesh D C, HoD of EEE, Prof. Rajendra Ghivari, Association coordinator, Mr. Karthik. M & Ms. Sunita. S students of AEEES coordinators presided over the function.
Dr. Anand B. Deshpande Principal & Director AITM motivated students to actively engage in co-curricular activities, highlighting their role in developing essential skills and pushing beyond comfort zones. And also encouraged students to pursue their passion and dreams, emphasizing that determination is the key to success.

Talk on “Demystifying Engineering Vision”
Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering at Angadi Institute of Technology and Management- AITM, Belagavi in association with the Department of Training and Placement hosted a comprehensive talk on “Demystifying Engineering Vision” on 5th December 2023.
The Talk was delivered by our esteemed faculty Prof. Peer Mohammad Kolakar, Assistant Professor,Department of EEE, to the final-year students from various streams.
Prof. Peer with his extensive experience and qualifications, provided valuable insights into career opportunities related to GATE exams and employment in the government sector for students
Prof. Peer explained the significance of GATE scores, its relevance to postgraduate admissions, and its importance for securing jobs in the public and private sectors. Also, the diverse range of career opportunities and benefits available in the government sector for engineering graduates including job security, attractive salary.
On behalf of EEE department we would like to appreciate and thank Prof. Peer Mohammad Kolakar, for sharing his knowledge and experience.The Event was coordinated by Prof. Kantesh D C, HoD of EEE Department and Association Coordinator Prof. Rajendra Ghivari. VENCER 2k23 A Two Days National Level Techno – Cultural Fest was organized at Angadi Institute of Technology and Management Belagavi on 11th and 12th MAY 2023. Under this fest Many events has been conducted at Department level & College level for inter college students and 11th Graduation Day was organized on 19th MAY 2023
AICTE ACTIVITY PROGRAMME 2022-2023
The graduating student must have excellent knowledge and skills in the area of his/her study. However, he must also have broad understanding of society and relationships. Character needs to be nurtured as an essential quality by which he would understand and fulfill his responsibility as an engineer, a citizen and a human being. Besides the above, several meta-skills and underlying values are needed.
The final year Electrical & Electronics Engineering students of the department were visited Kanbargi village and Machhe, Belagavi for conducting AICTE activity point program. The main occupation of the villagers is agriculture. The village has an education system up to high school level, a primary health center, a community center.

The inaugural ceremony of the Association of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was held on 18th March 2023. Mr. Chetan Bhaskar Dupatane Business Development Manager, Siddhivinayak Transformer Private Limited Belagavi was present as a chief guest on this occasion, Dr Anand Deshpande Principal and Director of AITM, Prof. AnilKumar Korishetti Head of the department EEE, Prof. Rajendra Ghivari Association Coordinator and Miss Akshata Dange student coordinator presided the function. Department of EEE also Felicitated Dr. B.N. Patil Faculty for the award of Doctorate he holds.
Green Energy Club Activity
As a part of academic on field presentation event is conducted for First Year Students of Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering and Department of Electronics & Communications Engineering on “Solar & Wind Energy” by Prof. Kantesh D C From Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering AITM Belagavi.
As a part Social Connect and Responsibility the event is organized for Computer Science Engineering students on “Renewable Energy and its Application” by Prof. Kantesh D C , Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering AITM Belagavi
Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Angadi Institute of Technology and Management Belagavi conducted club activity on “Energy Resource and Electrical Vehicle” on 26/11/2012 at 2:30 p.m. The main purpose of the event is with the increasing concern on Energy Efficiency energy diversification and environmental protection electric vehicles (EV’s) have launched a revenge for road transportation. Among those multidisciplinary EV Technologies energy source are the key Technology for possible commercialization and popularization of EV’s.
Internship activity conducted on Energy Source and Importance of Earthing. By the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Department of Electronics and communication Engineering aitm. Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Department of Electronics and communication Engineering Angadi Institute of Technology and Management organized various events for the students of 3rd semester EEE and EC department as a part of internship these events help students to explore and enhance that technical skills showcase there talent in cultural and Technical events and boost their confidence communication and interpersonal skills. Faculty of EEE Department Prof. Kantesh D C & Prof. Rajendra Ghivari Conducted the Event Successfuly.
As a part of internship the event is organized for civil engineering students on “Solar Energy” by Prof. Kantesh D C , Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering AITM Belagavi.
As a part of internship the event is organized for Artificial Intelligence & Data Science Engineering students on “Renewable Energy and its Application” by Prof. Kantesh D C , Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering AITM Belagavi.

VENCER 2022 A Two Days National Level Techno – Cultural Fest was organized at Angadi Institute of Technology and Management Belagavi on 27th and 28th june 2022. Under this fest many events had been conducted for inter college students and 10th Graduation Day was organized on 29th June 2022.
Technical Talk on "Electrical Transmission Network "
On June 22nd 2022 the technical talk was conducted for students on “Electrical Transmission Network” and the resource person was Dr. Shivappa. Sobarad Assistant Engineer O&M Substation GESCOM Munirabad. Dr. Shivappa. Sobarad Explained to the students about the working process of Electrical Transmission in the substation.
PARENT's MEET
Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering Angadi Institute of Technology & Management Belagavi conducted parents meet on 08/06/2022 at 10.30 AM in HOD Cabin. The main purpose of meet was to create a common platform, where teacher and parents come together to enrich the students educational experiences and discuss variety of issues, regarding all round development of students.
